We strive for the best possible job experience for our people, combining working at the office, at the client, and at home. You determine where you work from, in consultation with your team and depending on the nature of the work. It’s important that everyone in the team feels comfortable with the agreements.

At Deloitte, what does hybrid working mean?

One thing is certain: we won’t be working at the office everyday anymore. For instance, you could work at the office one day for specific activities with the team, one day at a client, and the rest of the week from home or from somewhere else.

Specific activities determine where you work from

Based on (the nature of) your work you (and your team) determine where you work from. Maybe some activities require physical collaboration, or can only be done from one specific physical location. In that case, working online is not an option. If you’re working on a confidential paper, you might not want to work in a public space. Also, you’re free to work at any Deloitte office. For every kind of activity, it’s best to try and find the balance between working online and on location, together with your team.

Facilities in the office & compensation for working from home

Deloitte offers various tools and devices to facilitate hybrid working. Also, our meeting rooms in all offices are fully equipped with e.g. cameras and microphones, so you can always meet with your colleagues and clients, online as well as offline.

Every professional will receive a one-time compensation for an ergonomic place to work from home, in order to work just as comfortably as at the office. You’re also allowed to get some accessories from our web shop for free, and you will receive an appropriate monthly financial compensation.​

Well-being

At Deloitte, your well-being is our priority. We offer a Deloitte FIT and Well-Being programme that centres around your health and work/life balance. If you are in the position that you have to offer care (temporarily), or need care yourself, we will support you. Also, there are a number of activities in the field of mind trainings, sports and work/life balance.
